With our overall culinary concept, we bring our guests closer to the flavours of the Alpine republic. At the same time, food is processed in our kitchen with sustainability in mind! "From nose to tail" is our principle.

Hosts with full conviction

Rubens was founded by Cornelia and Ruben Baumgart—two passionate restaurateurs with international experience and a genuine passion for moments of indulgence.

Conny, an Austrian with roots in southeastern Styria, has worked as a hotel manager around the world and was honored with the prestigious Rolling Pin award for “Maître of the Year.”

Ruben, half North German and half Austrian, is a passionate chef who brings his experience from Austrian haute cuisine to the table. As a member of the JRE – Jeunes Restaurateurs, he embodies the highest culinary quality and craftsmanship.
